EXPERIENCE
- 1977 to 1984
|
| In
1977 Miriam started work as a masseuse at the Brendan Edwards
Sports Centre, doing therapeutic and relaxation massage. During
1980-1983 she engaged in practical naturopathic work, sitting
in with five leading Naturopaths gaining experience in many
aspects of Natural Therapies. In 1983-84 she was employed as
a sports trainer, in the areas of sports medicine and massage
at Mitcham Football Club, the Victorian Football Association's
Second Division. At Mitcham she was responsible for the treatment
of 30 players during their seven month season. 1984 she worked
at Heatherton Chiropractic two days per week, using a German
Theratest Super for reaction testing and allergy management.

EXPERIENCE
- 1985 to 1990
|
| In
1995 she completed a successful lecture tour for Ohana Health
of San Francisco U.S.A.. Miriam also wrote and delivered well
received seminars for the Council of Adult Education in Melbourne.
She was an contributing Editor for the Journal of the Australian
Natural Therapists Association, and the Nutrition writer for
REPS an Australian/International body building magazine. Her
work has also been published in Health World America, Victorian
Aids Council Magazine, IVF Friends, and in The Eternal Optimists.

EXPERIENCE
- 1991 to 1999
|
|
Miriam
was the permanent health writer for Whole Person, till it
closed. She did clinical research, and wrote and presented
a seminar with technical sheets for the Pro Care Vitamin Company
(for whom the famous Dr. Sandra Cabot author of "Liver Cleansing
Diet" used to write and lecture). She also contributed articles
to Australian Cyclist, Senior Scene, Endometriosis Assoc.
Newsletter, Whole Person, Life Wise, Now, and Claudia.
In 1996
the Centre of Creative Healing built its lecture room, and
now hosts Australian and International lecturers. With courses
ranging from Diet No More, to Reiki, Polarity, and Internal
Control Theory.

EXPERIENCE
- 2000 onwards
|
|
In 2001
she achieved her Bachelor of Health Science degree which was
formally awarded to her in 2002. She also achieved government
registration as an acupuncturist, via accreditation with the
Chinese medicine registration Board.
In 2002
she commenced her bachelor of laws, and in 2003 her first
book Slim for Life regime and recipes was published. In 2004
her second book Slim for Life for Children Regime and Recipes
was published and launched.
